Birth - 2 years
A professionally staffed nursery is available during all worship services and other church related activities.
Sunday 10:30 Play-N-Worship gets kids worshiping God and knowing Jesus through movement and fun. Themes include: God Gives Me Food, God Takes Care Of Me, God Is With Me, God Keeps Me Safe, God Loves Me, Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Is Born, Jesus Is My Friend, God Made Me and I Can Help. Music CDs for Play –N-Worship available in the bookstore.
3-4 years
Sunday 9:30 BUZZ
Buzz makes Sunday school fun for kids ages 3 & 4 as they experience Bible truths. Buzz is an interactive experience! Preschoolers will learn in ways that fit their style-whether acting, drawing, listening, singing or playing a game.
Sunday 10:30 Kids' Worship Time
Preschoolers ages 3 & 4 will be escorted by our teachers from the nursery to the Kids’ Worship Room. The children will have a special opportunity each week to worship God through age-appropriate storytelling, songs, and activities. Children will begin to grow in their faith and understanding that Jesus loves them. After their worship time, the children will be brought back to the nursery where parents are welcome to pick up their children for their communion blessing.
5 years - 3rd grade
Sunday 9:30
Faith Quest isn’t the Sunday School you remember. It is fast paced, media oriented for kids today. Children will rotate through areas which will help them understand God’s word and how it applies to their life. Each week, they will rotate to a new workshop where they will experience the same Bible story or concept but through different medias.
Apostles Acting Co.: Where kids are the star of the show.
Disciples Design Studio: Bring out the artist in your child.
Godly Gourmet: Kids cook up snacks that teach a lesson.
Gospel Game Room: Learning the Bible can be fun!
Apostles.net: Kids plug into Jesus with computers.
Sunday 10:30
Kids will love learning Bible Stories and Biblical Principles they can relate to in their life. These are presented through music, multimedia, puppet shows and skits. Kids will have a blast while learning about the Bible and God’s love for them! They return to the their parents in time for communion.
4th - 5th grade
Throughout the year Spirit Questers enjoy lock-ins, retreats, outreach, special events and lots of fun. This is a chance to meet for fun, service projects and Bible Study. Spirit Quest gives our kids a chance to form Christian friendships before moving on to those Junior High years.

Kids discover 13 awesome Bible stories---and the eternal truths that Jesus revealed in them. Along the way, they'll meet a lost and found son, a rich fool, disgruntled vineyard workers, a good Samaritan, and many other memorable characters!

I do believe as a parent we have an obligation to provide as many opportunities for spiritual education and development for our children while they are young. Nothing is more important than children knowing that Jesus loves them no matter what! At COTHA, that is the message children receive each and every week.
