FAith Community Experience
FAith Community Experience, or FACE, is designed to connect believers and enable them to live into the vision of Disciples Making Disciples. We were created to live and work in a community. This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God. We must become like a mature person, growing until we become like Christ and have his perfection. Ephesians 4:14 (NCV)
Are you growing in your faith? Join a FAith Community and Experience all God has in store for you. The chart below offers a brief description of the various groups you may join. If you have further questions, contact

Discipleship Groups are small intimate groups of three or four same gender participants studying together. The group meets to discuss the book Discipleship Essentials: A Guide to Building Your Life in Christ by Gary Ogden. The groups complete the 24 lessons each with a core truth in a question and answer format, a memory verse and accompanying study, a inductive Bible study, a them-related reading, and discussion questions. Members are then expected to lead a new group through the same projects.

2:42 Groups are groups of 10-18 adults meeting weekly at the church or in homes to study the Bible, just as they did in the Book of Acts. They are joined together by a covenant and five basic principles of Community, Worship, Discipleship, Service, and Outreach. Each week, you will study the Bible, pray together, and share common concerns. Leaders select their study based on group interest. Group members choose a specific day and time for their meetings, usually 1.5 hours. Childcare is also available for several groups. For a listing of current groups, go to www.holyapostles.cc/242 |
